People with diabetes (type 1 and type 2), even with well controlled sugars, are at high risk of serious complications of flu like Pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus infections, ear infections and sometimes may result in ICU admissions. Flu also can make chronic health problems, like diabetes, worse. This is because diabetes can make the immune system less able to fight infections. In addition, illness can make it harder to control your blood sugar. The illness might raise your sugar but sometimes people don’t feel like eating when they are sick, and this can cause blood sugar levels to fall.

Take a flu shot now and be safe specially if you are a diabetic or over 60 years of age. Call 9977345555 for an appointment.
